Despite some atrocious weather ( heavy snowfall and no wind ) six brave boats sailed in a variety of ” races ” . In the ” Christmas Pudding Relay Race ” two teams of three battled it out using variety of methods of propulsion to sail to number 1 buoy and back. At least the paddling kept them warm !!

The second event saw each boat collecting coloured baubles and a Christmas Pudding . Keith Budden ( or Pussy Galore as he prefers to be called ) and Isabelle Beechey took the prize.

Congratulations to all sailors for their courage and fortitude in cold and windless conditions
