Junior Learn To Sail
2025 courses
The RYA Youth Sailing Scheme Stages 1&2 for juniors, are suitable for ages 8-16. Courses are run in small groups, and one stage at a time.
Our courses not only teach young people how to sail and make new friends, but helps to develop a growth mind-set, confidence, independence, team-working, creativity, determination and communication.
The course includes boat hire, coaches, and materials, including a log book and sailing guide, and includes 3 months free membership to enable further practice, and to participate in other club activities.
Once qualified at Stage 1, you are encouraged to join our regular Saturday morning coaching sessions to help you develop your skills on sailing, and participate in all Club activities.
