Welcome 2011: Shall We Have Dinner?

What a start to the New Year. Our traditional hangover cure, The Millenium Trophy races, were cancelled due to the reservoir still being frozen. Instead the Commodore lead a group on a riverside walk, although I’m not sure who the trophies go to in that case. A few hardy souls made it out onto the water this weekend, the first sailing since 19th December. May there be much more in the coming year.

New Year, New Events

Welcome to 2009! TSC wishes you a happy and successful new year. 2008 was a great 40th aniversary year for Trimpley with the arrival of our new RIB, several succesful special events, such as our Regatta day and our GP14 and Laser open meetings.

This year we’ll be running our Taste of Sailing courses as always which are a great way to get into sailing in a relaxed friendly way. We’ll hopefully get some trips organised as well for the opportunity to sail on some bigger waters. There is...read more


Millennium Trophy – Happy New Year

Wishing you a happy new year and good winds from TSC. We kicked off the new year with the always successful millennium trophy, and this year was no exception. despite poor winds, a good turn out of GP14s ensured we had some good racing, with some extra wet roll tacking adding extra entertainment value. New member David Griffiss crewed by daughter Emily won the main title in two races, Emily taking the Top Junior Crew award; the handicap title was taken by Phil Quarry, crewed by Jon Harper.
