40th Anniversary Regatta and Pig Roast

Last weekend TSC celebrated our 40th anniversary at the annual regatta. An unusual mix of sun, squalls and showers added to the frivolities. All the usual events went ahead starting off with the ever competitive ladies plate won by Michelle Tromans crewed by Mark Tromans, with Pat Stout crewed by Ralph Webb coming in second.

After an excellent lunch the day continued with more fun events including ‘hunting the griz’ and a treasure hunt, both of which involved getting very wet.

Bala Cruising Weekend

This weekend played host to a TSC cruising weekend at Lake Bala in north Wales. Despite the lack of wind, the sun made the trip enjoyable for all. Over 30 members made the trip with 15 boats of different types, with some of the clubs newer members especially benefiting from sailing on a bigger water.
